XY Router®: Automated Line Changeover System

Summary

This is equipment for automatically switching between multiple lines. The equipment configuration intrinsically eliminates cross contamination for safer operation. The lines are switched over when the couplers attached at the tip of the hoses move along the X-axis and Y-axis and automatically dock at the point of intersection (X,Y). By forming continuous flow path without branching and adopting highly washable couplers and hoses, the product loss is minimized and cleaning is facilitated. As a result, productivity may be enhanced.

Automatic connection eliminates failures in connection. The equipment significantly reduces the volume of pipes, conserves space and reduces costs. By integrating the equipment with the scheduling software (Komei™7, a production scheduling technology), the overall throughput of a Multi-Plant is enhanced.

Features

Switchover from the preparation tank to storage tank --> With the connection of high degree of freedom between tanks, the number of tanks may be reduced.

Switchover from the storage tank to filling and other machines --> The connection of high degree of freedom between tanks enhances the operation ratio of filling machines.
