1961	TOYO was established. Capital: 300 million yen The head office was established at Nihonbashi, Tokyo.
1962	An agreement for engineering service and technical assistance was concluded with the Lummus Co.(U.S.A.)
1963	The first overseas contract for a fertilizer plant with the Fertilizer Corp. of India was awarded. (This was the first application of yen loans for plant export to India.)
1964	The first urea plant contract in the former Soviet Union was awarded. (This was the first instance of deferred payment by the Export-Import Bank of Japan for plant export to the former Soviet Union.)
1965	TOYO was awarded its first ethylene plant contract. (TOYO concluded the first contract for a domestic plant in the 300,000 t/y class with application of the Lummus process for the first time.)
1969	TOYO was awarded the contract for a first ammonia plant in the former Soviet Union
1970	TOYO was awarded the contract for a second ammonia plant in the former East Germany. (This was the first instance of deferred payment by the Export-Import Bank of Japan for the former East Germany.)
1973	Contract for a urea plant for China was awarded. (This was the first plant export to China after the restoration of Japanese-Chinese relations.)
1975	Capital: 1,890 million yen
1976	Toyo Engineering India Limited established
1977	Construction of the Research Center completed in Mobara, Chiba Prefecture. TOYO was awarded a contract for supply of FCC/aromatic complex to the former East Germany.
1978	Capital: 2,970 million yen
1980	Capital :3,300 million yen TOYO was listed on the second section of Tokyo Stock Exchange.
1982	Capital: 5,040 million yen TOYO was listed on the first section of Tokyo Stock Exchange.
1983	Toyo-Thai Corporation Ltd. Established.
1986	Toyo U.S.A., Inc. established. Toyo Engineering & Construction Sdn. Bhd. established in Malaysia
1987	Toyo Engineering Korea Limited established
1989	Capital: 12,219 million yen
1990	Construction of Head Office/Engineering Center Building, Baytec Building, was completed.

1994	TOYO received the ISO 9001 registration
1998	Toyo do Brasil Ltda. established.

2001	The 40th anniversary
2004	Yutaka Yamada was elected as President and CEO. TOYO received the ISO 14001 registration. Toyo Engineering Corporation, China established.
2006	Capital： 18,199 million yen Toyo Engineering Europe, S.A renamed from International Procurement Service Corp. Toyo Canada Corporation established.
2007	Relocation of Tokyo head office.
2008	Toward the next Medium-Term Corporate Strategic Plan.
2009	Medium-Term Corporate Strategic Plan for Fiscal 2009 to 2011 started. TOYO formulated the Group MVV (Mission, Vision, Value). Toyo Ingeniería de Venezuela, C.A　established.
