Power Generation
Summary
As the economy continues to develop, the global demand for electricity is likely to continue growing for the foreseeable future. TOYO has engaged in the engineering and construction of various types of power plants that meet the needs of its clients.

TOYO has an established record of success in the construction of power generation facilities for oil refinery and petrochemical plants. It has also engaged in projects associated with a large coal-fired power plant in Indonesia and combined cycle power plants in Thailand for Independent Power Producer (IPP). |
TOYO has handled been engaged in various types of power plants, including the conventional combined-cycle, oil-fired, and coal-fired power plants, the combined facilities of water and power supply for the Independent Water and Power Project (IWPP), Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle (IGCC) and other clean coal technologies, and the balance of plant (BOP) for nuclear power plants.
In response to the increase in scale and complexity of refinery and petrochemical complex, many projects of large-scale utility centers have been planned where the necessary services (supply of electricity, water and suchlike and waste water treatment, etc.) are shared.
Environmentally friendly power generation project

In view of the environmental impact, the number of projects involving Combined Cycle Power Plants (CCPP) that use natural gas has increased in recent years. At the same time, the effective usage of coal has come into focus again due to its relatively inexpensive and stable prices and its abundant reserves. On the other hand, measures are required for advanced waste water treatment and denitrification / desulphurization treatment. In some cases there is also a requirement for the capture and storage of carbon dioxide from its flue gas. |
As discussed above, power plants have increased in scale and complexity both in terms of technology and plant capacity. Relying on the element technologies it has cultivated through the process plant engineering, TOYO considers power plants to be an area in which its full range of capabilities can be exercised and has endeavored to expand the business.
